Currently working for the Centre des technologies de l'information de l'Etat, doing analysis and development (Visual Studio, SQL Server) as well as user training and support at the Administration Judiciaire in Luxembourg.
Worked for ConceptWare. Used Powerbuilder, Sybase SQL Anywhere and InstallShield to create reporting applications for banks and financial institutions.
Worked as a contractor for the Publications Office in Luxembourg. My job mostly involved Perl and XML, and I was part of a team that ported a Perl/SGML application to Java/XML.
Employed by Genesi s.à.r.l. My duties included documentation and web development.
Worked as programmer at ConceptWare. Created and maintained applications for companies in the banking sector. Handled development of two applications that were in use at around 150 banks in Luxembourg. Also did 2nd-level support, analysis and deployment as required.
Previous work experiences include a helpdesk position at ConceptWare (1 year fulltime, 3 months freelance); phone dispatching at Ecos Office Center (6 months freelance); as well as various student jobs at banks (Chase Manhattan Bank: 9 weeks, Banque Cogeba-Gonet: 15 weeks) and other companies (Cetrel: 4 weeks, DuPont: 4 weeks).
Freelance sports photographer for Luxemburger Wort, Luxembourg's biggest-selling daily newspaper; as well as its website. My photos are also occasionally printed in Télécran weekly magazine and were also featured in the now-defunct newspapers La Voix and Point 24. I'm shooting all kinds of sports, covering both national and international events.
Creator and maintainer of photo.lu, a site that primarily showcases my sports photography in Luxembourg. I'm currently recording over 7,000 visits and up to 70,000 pageviews a month.
Creator and maintainer of ANN.lu, one of the most popular Amiga websites around the turn of the century. At its peak, it received up to 3,000 visitors a day and delivered close to half a million monthly pageviews.
Creator and maintainer of Celeblinks.com, a web directory linking to celebrity fansites all over the world. It was sold to X-Line Ltd in 2000.
From 1998 to 2006, I sold advertisement space on my various websites to a number of ad agencies, using impression-based (CPM), click-based (CPC) and text-only advertisements. Past adverting partners include Burst Media, Valueclick, Google AdSense, as well as several other agencies that have since been bought up or closed.
